Hey there!

I’m Alja – a Berlin-based soul currently exploring the world with an open heart, a curious mind, and a backpack that’s definitely too full (but let’s be honest, I needed that third pair of shoes).

I love Couchsurfing because it transforms a dot on the map into real memories – with real people, honest stories, and often unforgettable dinners. For me, the most beautiful part of traveling is connecting with locals, exchanging cultures, laughing about language fails, and maybe picking up a new recipe or dance move along the way.

I’m a professional hairdresser (yes, I travel with scissors – only if you’re brave enough!) and a huge fan of deep conversations, cooking, music, and spontaneous adventures. I’m also very happy with a calm evening, a cup of tea, and some soul-nourishing chats.
