I'm vegan for the animals and for the Earth. 'nuff said, I'm not here to preach (I do it everywhere else already :P), but if you're interested just watch Earthlings. It should be enough for anybody.
I love to hitchhike: I love the slowness that lets me enjoy the road and the surrounding places, I love to persuade someone to pick me up thanks only to a thumb and a smile, I love to become friends with complete strangers, I love to know different cultures and ways of life, I love to be able to travel hundreds of kilometers a day without incrementing the use of fossil fuels, I love the unpredictability of where I will end up every time, but most of all I love the freedom to just get up and start a trip.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hosted three times in my little hometown, then I went travelling :)
So far so good: I've crossed roads only with nice and interesting people...
Animal, human and Earth liberation.
Veganism and antispeciesism.
Anarchy, political and social freedom.
Sustainable living, permaculture, organic farming, WWOOFing.
Hitchhiking and alternate ways of travel.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm into sci-fi, fantasy, and anything that can be classified as mindfuck.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hitchhiked over 50.000 km :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't have practical skills. None at all, I swear, and I'm pretty confident I'm not able to learn any either.
So we could just share experiences, talk about our interests (common or otherwise) and hope to teach and learn from each other something maybe even more valuable than any practical skill.
(Well, I *do* wash dishes fairly well, though, and I can probably fix your computer's issues... installing Linux on it, for example. And I could teach some Italian, if you want.)
