ABOUT ME
Hi dear surfers! I'm Alper. I was born and raised in the lovely south part of Turkey. I have started to live in Istanbul and graduated from Bogazici University. Currently, working remotely for a private equity firm in Singapore.

I am a person who loves meeting new people and learning more about new cultures and life visions.

PHILOSOPHY

My main goal is, experiencing as much as I can in lots of different ways. This is the way you find and discover about yourself. Life is too short to be sad and too enjoyable to just sit and watch. Routin dynamics of daily life is something I try to escape from. (I mostly manage to do this) Therefore, I try to fill my whole free time with different activities and meeting new people; learning about their life, try to understand their decisions and visions. This also adds new values to my vision and improves me in lots of ways. To sum up; search, experience, learn, use what you have learnt, share and never regret because of any experiences you had!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Evey new person in our life means a new perspective and a new life mentality. There are so many things to learn from other people and from different cultures. Without it, isn't it scary to stay in the same understanding for years?

I am on CouchSurfing to cross fellow travelers' paths with me while I am hosting them and to meet new people when I am travelling. So, I hope to have friends from all around the world.

I can share all my life philosopy and listen to yours. We can just find each other in a deep conversation talking about various topics

What I Can Share with Hosts

Apart from everything you expect from a common host (Bed,hot water,foods,local tips), I can provide a cool company with my local friends in Istanbul for you to enjoy your stay more. Depending on what you enjoy doing, I am opened to any ideas for making your stay as good as possible. Isn't it the spirit of CS? :)

Also, I will help you to provide a public transportation card + a smartphone with internet and a Turkish number which you can contact me with.
