I love traveling, I like learning about new cultures and new people. I'm an outgoing person always trying to keep myself busy and find interesting and new things to do.

PHILOSOPHY

Learn from what there is abroad and remember what you left at home. Live a life you will remember. I respect everyone's beliefs and opinions, but as I also have my own I expect people to respect my thoughts too. Always open for a constructive discussion.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time I did Couchsurfing was almost 10 years ago and thought it was a great way of traveling the world and getting to know new people. All my experiences have been truly satisfactory. I have had the chance to meet great people that they have shown me about the CS world, the place I was visiting, and also about their lives. While I was living in Portsmouth I got involved in the Portsmouth CS, attending the meeting regularly and sharing my experiences with people who had never tried it before. I met life-long friends in this community.

Interessi

Besides traveling, languages are my other passion. I love getting to know how different languages work as I'm really into Linguistics. Of course when I travel or whenever I meet need people I like getting to know their culture and their experiences in general. I love beer of all kinds, my personal favorite being a hoppy IPA.

Musica, film e libri

I love live music usually of any kind. I really like listening to music and I enjoy many different genres: indie, reggae, punk, rock, deep house. As for reading, I like for example books related to linguistics, climate emergency, or self-improvement.

Volunteering in Vietnam for a month, in a town where no other foreigners were around, and finding a way to communicate with people not sharing a common language.

Traveling for 3 weeks around South Africa with my girlfriend. Picking up hitchhikers in Zululand and hearing their stories. Visiting the Rastafarian in Knysna.

I like sharing the things I know and the experiences I have lived. Traveling is what has taught me the most and shaped me into who I am. I also like talking about the Basque Country and the amazing language, culture, and people that live there.

I like talking and I'm curious about what people have to share. I can talk about things I know (like a bit of linguistics and teaching) and also I about what I've learned and seen in travellings.
