Nice to meet you 🙂 My name is ÁIvaro. I thrive on exploration, knowledge, sharing, generosity and connection. I approach life with an open-mind, with empathy, compassion, sense of humor💣, nerdiness and also staying quite fit (fit and nerdy?). I believe in responsibility 🌍 and self-awareness 🪞. A Spaniard, but perfectly fluent in English, as well as in everything science, and in everything human 🫂. I have recently started using CS; the doors opened to me the moment I've been able to host, which is mainly what I do.

I naturally come alive at night, but I’d rather we stick to daytime plans, ok? 😂 Also, alcohol definitely played its part in my growth, but I’ve gradually stopped drinking. I’m like... already dialed in and fun 😎 No problem if you want a drink, I'll always encourage you to do it your way!! I'm open to other kinds of experiences too.

Requests: I'd love them to be personalized, but the time it takes to write them is unrealistic, given the sheer number to send before even getting a reply... So, feel free to copy-paste most of it 🙂

And just as you wouldn't look for a job, get it, and commute there everyday purely as a maneuver to meet somebody, we're not here with any agenda but the Couchsurfing experience ✨. Yes, couples have met through CS, I even know of one married with kids! But that's just life, it can happen anywhere.

So, if you genuinely like me as a person, that shouldn't be weird or threatening, but the best thing! It should be genuine, and about sharing a space where we both feel perfectly comfortable, respected, and understood. And where we can be fully ourselves!! If I find you amazing, same thing!

Couchsurfing is one the greatest things ever; just like that! It has to keep on growing, for the good of humanity.

I’m on CS for exploration, discovery, and the experience of sharing our life journey and feed into each other’s lives ☀️🌱🆙 Shattering the barrier of distance, being able to meet people from every corner of the world and discover the wonders each place holds, bringing us all a little closer together. Also closer with ourselves, our understanding, our goals, our dreams.

音乐、电影和书籍

I read a lot of physics already, and wanting to keep my sight, I mainly do podcasts and audiobooks. I enjoyed non-fiction like "Cows, Pigs, Wars, and Witches", or "Sapiens", but I would love to dive into some of the world's classics (good editions with commentaries) or Dostoevsky. Shall we start a book club??

Movies, I need to watch more; I'm not perfect! I have great memories of Dogville (great memories 😂) and Annie Hall, to name two.

Music: I'm exploring electronic music and looking for good bass lines, but my classics are, in no particular order: Radiohead, Elton John, RHCP, Alt-J, Moderat, Arcade Fire, early Muse, RATM, many tunes from Coldplay (no problem admitting that), Pink Floyd, Beatles, some Arctic Monkeys and QOTSA... as well as currently some Albéniz and Bach.

Went to jazz school but I'm not listening to jazz at the moment, except for some AI remixes I'm finding that are amazing!
