Music: Alt-J. Aretha Franklin. Bonobo. Brahms. Diplo. Jeremih. John Wizards. Lauryn Hill. MIA. Yo-yo Ma... One of my favorite nights started at the Berlin Philharmonie, went on to sing pop songs at karaoke, and ended in a sweaty, smokey, red-lit trap den. All of that's good.

Movies: Death to Smoochy. Harold and Maude. Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid. I've also been dying to watch Men In Black again lately, for reasons I cannot explain.

Books: The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Pale Fire. Just Kids. Narcissus und Goldmund. Anna Karenina (that's mostly a brag that I finished it). I just realized that for the first time in my life, I'm starting to finish the books that I start.
