Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Two years ago, I celebrated new year's eve with my boyfriend in a hostel in Vilnius which happened to be the place that had been chosen for a couch surfing event. We thus celebrated new year's eve with people from all over the world who had gotten together to celebrate thanks to couch surfing. This was the first time I had heard about couch surfing ; I found the idea brilliant and absolutely loved meet so many people who came from such different horizons. I decided I should join so a few months later when I finally found the time to do so, here I am !

Music, Movies, and Books

As a huge fan of nature, I absolutely loved the movies "wild" and "into the wild". I fell in love with the book "One day" and so many others such as "Never let me go" by Kazuo Ishiguro or books that deal with psychological matters such as "Il faut qu'on parle de Kevin".
I listen to Lana del Rey, London Grammar, Kygo as well as older bands such as Queen and some French musics

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a gap year with my boyfriend and we backpacked for 8 months through Asia. It was amazing and enabled us to have lots of great experiences (trekking in Nepal, scooter loops in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia...), to meet many people and learn so much about other cultures.
Afterwards, we bought bicycles in Bulgaria and we are currently making our way back to France!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love eveything about food : making it, tasting it (of course) and discovering local food so of course I'd be thrilled to cook for my hosts. I am passionate about other cultures and would thus be very interested in anything you have to tell me about your country !
