About Me

(If you want to see my recommendations, check out my photos or stalk my friend Kristen Currey! I have been coach surfing on her account up until this point so I have very few references but I screen shotted recent references from her page and posted them in the the “recommendations” photo album so you know I'm not a terrible human!)

Hey there!

I give a lot of thumbs ups and high fives and am an unrelenting ball of positivity! I am passionate about nature, traveling, and people--three things I've been lucky enough to experience in great quantities throughout my life. I've dabbled in a bunch of different jobs and relocated to multiple areas of the world for work and study, which has been an absolute blessing. I've lived in my car everywhere from Canada to Michigan to Colorado to the LA area. My friend Kristen and I have spent lots of time traveling together and we have started our travels again! We are spending lots of time hiking and rock climbing this time around, so any suggestions are welcome! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am sold on couchsurfing being the best way to travel. I spent a summer couchsurfing through eastern Europe with one of my friends (on her CS account). We couchsurfed our way through 7 countries & met some absolutely incredible people along the way. After that trip, we couchsurfed in Toronto and stayed with a host who I would now consider a dear friend & he inspired us to couchsurf on a trip around the world. I spent the next 5 months traveling & couchsurfing with the most wonderful people all over this big ol’ earth. I have found that couchsurfing really allows you to experiences places and cultures in a way that simply traveling does not. I look forward to eventually being in a stable place that allows me to host others and provide the same generosity and friendship that has been shown to me throughout the years!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning Spanish again; I am conversational but need to improve my vocabulary and grammar. I would love to spend time practicing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sharing stories between travelers is a passion of mine, so I would love to hear about your adventures and share mine (I’ve made some highly questionable decisions that make for some funny stories & I will share them shamelessly)
I also managed to travel the world on airline points alone, so I can offer some advice on that topic, too!
