Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Amir. I'm an easy going person. I love the nature.
Current mission: Developing technical solutions to promote a sustainable water cycle in both water and wastewater management systems.
I believe everyone has their own unique story, a life shaped by personal experiences. I would like to listen to yours.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Obviously, to make new friends; however:
As a surfer:
Firstly, anyone who opens their home to strangers isn’t just hospitable—they’re invaluable. Secondly, in my experience, solo travelers mostly meet new people during the day, while nighttime tends to make everyone more cautious, perhaps unconsciously. Couchsurfing bridges that gap, ensuring you’re not alone after sunset.
As a host:
Some surfers are wonderfully, delightfully crazy—I’d love to have those kinds of people around!

Music, Movies, and Books
From rock to rap, electronic, and beyond. I enjoy everything from Western pop to African classical music. Some of my favorite artists and bands include Pink Floyd, Linkin Park, Nicolas Jaar, Eminem, Archive, Bob Dylan, Adele, Coldplay, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Nirvana, Notorious B.I.G., and 2Pac.
I’m a fan of anime and films from South Korea, Sweden, France, Iran, and Italy. In Hollywood, some of my favorites include Into the Wild, Forrest Gump, The Whale, Fight Club, The Lord of the Rings, The Dark Knight, 12 Angry Men, 8 Mile, Pulp Fiction, Interstellar, The Pianist, Call Me by Your Name, Requiem for a Dream, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Joker, and Trainspotting.
I enjoy reading books about languages and literature. My favorites are Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám in Persian, The Old Man and the Sea in English, and Im Pamir in German.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once spent a week camping in an isolated area on a remote island. My last meal was nothing more than honey and water.
