HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We hope to meet some neat people. And maybe crash on a couple of couches during our travels... COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Andre slept on his buddy Travis' couch for a few weeks, and now all of his junk mail goes to Travis, which is pretty sweet!

Teach, Learn, Share
Andre: I've personally given this a lot of thought. I'm a teacher, so teaching is a big part of my life and my teaching philosophy reflects my personality in a lot of ways. I think that (not to toot my own horn or anything) teaching is one of the most important things a person can do. Not only that, but I try to constantly learn as well. So I think that has a lot to do with how I interact with people. I try to learn as much as I can from them as well as offer what I can to them. Maybe that's too heavy and philosophical. Hey, I have an extra board... I can teach people how to surf!
