Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is varied but I follow a lot of Australian artists.

My favourite movie genre is comedy although I also like scientific documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year I spent 2 weeks kayaking in South Greenland. Our trip was unsupported with a food resupply mid way thru. I had visited Greendland twice previously for work (which was also an amazing experience) but kayaking through the fjords was very special.

In Iceland with a group of friends we visited a secret hot spring. We had to climb down 10m into a fissure in the rock to reach the water, which was crystal clear and very hot. It was a once in a lifetime experience!
Also snorkelling through the rift zone (inbetween the tectonic plates) in Silfa, Iceland was one of my all time travel highlights (2015)

Volunteering with children in Ecuador, coaching gymnastics. Our spanish school also organised many tours to nearby areas, including cruising through the Galapogas Islands
