About Me

Hey, I'm Amy. I am Chinese and working in an urban planning consultancy. I haven been living in Singapore for 3 years, before Singapore I lived in New Zealand for one year of teaching Mandarin for foreigners. I love travelling and making new friends. I am an optimistic, energetic and open-minded girl. Nice to meet you!!! ***** I would like to meet more people and have great conversations, while unfortunately I’m sharing an apartment with my friends, it’s not available to host you in Singapore now. But I would like to meet up or give you some recommendations if you are travelling in Singapore, China or Southeast Asia. ****** FB: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100010261929642 Ins: amygao_universe

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in New Zealand, I travelled with my friend to almost every city. We did a big road trip and also made so many friends. We both love hiking and rafting and we even bought a boat. So many adventure times.
————————————————————————————
At the end of 2017, I travelled alone to USA. While unfortunately, the first day I arrived all of my stuff was stolen, including my passport, bank card, cash, phone and all my documents in both China and Singapore. A sense of achievement, I survived in this trip and visited 5 big cities along the West Coast. I learnt a lot and received many helps on the road.
————————————————————————————
At the end of 2018, I did solo trip in Europe about 40 days and visited 15 cities. I met so many friends, learnt different cultures, survived from several dangerous and challenging situations. But I really enjoy that!
The life is like an adventurous and dramatic but interesting story book, if you wanna know more about the stories, let’s meet up and share a few pieces together!
————————————————————————————
I did a 2-month graduation trip started from Russia to America and then Mexico. As so many people stopped me from travelling to Mexico alone, I still insisted on doing that. I travelled 1 month in Mexico, and I met a lot of kind, hospitable people there. I learnt we need travels, to see, to experience, to break all the stereotypes from one to another.

Teach, Learn, Share

I had been a Mandarin language teacher for one year, so if you are interested in Chinese language we can learn together. I also learnt singing and playing the piano from an early age. I travelled to European countries, New Zealand, Australia and also a lot of Asian countries, which we could share together if you are interested in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Just as I said above, we can share language, music, cultures and also drinks.
If you want to explore more about Asian countries and have an admire to come, just talk with me.
