Hi, my name is An. I'm twenty and four months old now. Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. Currently studying at National Taiwan University of Art, majoring in Radio and Television. Though I have grown up in Taipei city since I was born, moving to the countryside has always been a big dream deeply rooted in my heart. Watching movies is one of my favorite hobbies. Since I study in RTV(Radio and Television department), photographing and filming are skills that I am expert in. And as for my personality, I might seem a little shy at first but on the second day you'll soon find out that I am a very crazy and humorous girl. I'm always full of curiosity and energy to experience new things and challenges in my life!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
For me, travel is more experiencing the local lifestyle and culture, than running for the famous touring sites. So I lOVE to travel with local people, eating local foods, transporting by local transportations, drinking in a local bar, having a normal day JUST like local people have. I think people we meet always plays a big part in a journey. Having communications with local people, knowing their stories are always what I'm looking forward to. Not to mention having a chance to be accompanied by local people for a whole journey. How AMAZING will it be!!! Also, I've been hosting summer and winter vacation camp for elementary school kids for two years. We have Korean university students joining us to host the camp together every generation. And I REALLY enjoy taking them on a trip in Taiwan after the camp. So it would be awesome to have chances to be a local tour guide for more people from aboard!
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all the David Fincher and Christopher Noland movies, but my favorite is Fight Club!!!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I got a "pineapple" tattoo on my arm!!! Because of a quote from one of my favorite movie(Chungking Express) "People change. A person may like pineapple today and something else tomorrow. “
