My passion is the Amazon rainforest. Since 2009, I am working with Indigenous Peoples and community forest management in the Brazilian Amazon. I was living in Belém (Pará, Brazil) since 2009. Now I am in Gainesville (Florida, USA) to do my PhD studies. I often use my free time to explore opportunities: new cultures, places, food, people, everything. My husband and I, we love to do outdoor sports: bike, kayak, canoe outriggers. In Belém we have a canoe outriggers club and my husband make his own kayaks. Because we love this kind of sport, we usually receive people at home to share our experience.
