About Me

My name is Ana. I'm a calm traveler who believes every journey is a way to reconnect with yourself through new people, places, and stories.
Originally from Europe with asian roots of Korea, I’ve lived and worked internationally in London, China, and now Cyprus, balancing a career in people development with my passion for personal growth and mindful living.
I travel light in luggage and in spirit. I always grateful for real conversations, shared meals, and quiet moments that make you feel at home anywhere in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, travel is not just about changing countries, it’s about connecting with presence.
I love meeting people who live consciously and create with passion, who can share a little bit of their world, whether it’s a favourite café, a local tradition, or just good silence over tea with meditation.
I’m here to exchange energy, not just space. Every stay and every encounter is a reminder of how big and kind the world can be.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, I was helping to organize an event for startups. In the middle of the event, one of the angel investors suddenly didn’t feel well, his body started shaking, and he lost feeling on the right side. Everyone around froze, but I immediately understood it wasn’t a heart attack, it looked like a severe panic attack brought on by exhaustion.
I stayed with him, kept him calm, called for help, and when the taxi was taking too long, I decided to drive him myself to the hospital. I registered him, paid for the first medical check, and stayed until he was stable.
In the end, he was fine. He had simply gone 72 hours without sleep and food while traveling. That moment reminded me how much I care about people’s inner state - not just their success or titles, but their energy and balance.
Situations like that happen often in my life — somehow I’m always nearby when someone needs calm energy and support. I guess that’s what I’m here for: to help people pause, breathe, and find themselves again.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing what I know and learning from others.
Here are some things I can offer and what I’m always curious to explore:
1)Coaching & Self-Discovery Conversations
2)Mindfulness, Breathwork & Energy Balance
3)Cross-Cultural Connection

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking, and it’s a big part of my passion. I enjoy exploring herbs and spices, which is why I travel a lot to discover new flavours and culinary inspirations. I would be happy to share my cooking skills, recipes, and experiences with my hosts. I also enjoy learning from others and exchanging stories, so I hope to make our time together fun and memorable.
