I believe beauty is everywhere, it is just a matter of looking for it. There are many nuances in life, but we make the choices. I love nature, art and the diversity of cultures. Diversity is an important element of beauty.My dreams are vivid, colourful. I get pleasure from painting, reading, writing and dancing. My senses are open to the universe.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like diverse music :) tropical rhythms, new age music, reggae, techno dance, classical music, rock, etc. I love to dance :)

There are many books I like. I like Latin American literature, and particularly the following authors: Borges, Vargas Llosa, Cortázar, García Márquez. I like the Dutch author Harry Mulisch (The Discovery of Heaven). I also enjoyed reading the Italian Boccacio when I was young, and also Chaucer. The stories of James Michener are awesome. Blue Nile by Alan Moorehead was nice. Russka by Edward Rutherfurd touched me. Arthur Rimbaud attracts me.

I enjoyed a lot Shataram and Cloud Atlas!

Movies? I like mystery movies and those based on Agatha Christie´s stories. I like movies about law and lawyers. I like comedies too. I can think of many I have enjoyed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw pink dolphins in Pañacocha (Ecuadorian Jungle). I swam, just by chance, with a school of doplhins in Bonaire :)

I´ve climbed and seen active volcanoes in Ecuador, during the first phase and before the huge eruption: Tungurahua and Pichincha.

In 1997, I and other two hundred young people from 20 different countries, crossed the Pacific Ocean from Tokyo to Acapulco in the Nippon Maru.
