Overview
About Me
I am from Zimbabwe and now live here in Cape Town, which is my new favourite place in he world.
I live on the beach front where I can always hear the ocean. I, and like love sunsets and walking on the promenade everyday. Cape Town has magical moments when the sun goes down, and awesome full moon nights too. I live here for the beaches and the views and the life. Say no more.
Having lived in many countries like Zimbabwe, Zambia, The Netherlands and South Africa, I guess you learn how to appreciate all the special things about a place, and always how to smile and laugh.
I appreciate being able to save money and stay longer in one location because there is always to much to see and appreciate. I want to help make all these things possible, so maybe I can help you save time by showing you where all the great places are, so you don't go home and missed a sunset in Clifton or a cocktail at Cafe Caprice on a Sunday. Perhaps we can go walking in the city at night together on Museum Night or catch some galleries on First Thursday in Cape Town, first thursday of every month.
Some cool tips like how to get Zeit Mocca museum entrance on a Friday half price, or when is the cheapest way to get car hire with free one way drop off or unlimited mileage. And look no further for an expert of local SIM cards and data because Wifi is not always possible or free here in South Africa.
I've come from Zimbabwe and I absolutely have some great tips for traveling to Mozambique or Victoria Falls, or Southern Luangwa for awesome game drives, or did you know that you can fly direct with Kenyan airways from Cape Town to Vic Falls, and how about Joberg to Zanzibar for a week? I love the oceans and the islands and I love African, and we all have the best of that here in these parts.
I look forward to welcoming you here and showing you everything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I understand myself what it means to be a traveler. The best thing ever is to have a local friend, to show you the best of the best, so you can be smart with your time and money.
I have a lot of "Secrets to Happiness" that I have discovered here in Cape Town.
I am Zimbabwean, and I honestly love that I am from Africa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam in the Victoria Falls, right in the gorge where the water falls over from Zambia over 120m.
I've been aerobatic flying. I've done drumming with locals on the shores of Lake Malawi. I spent new years in Spain eating grapes recently and enjoyed a boat trip in Cairo on the Nile at night...
