About Me

Finally done with the student life, I've been working full-time for a few years. I work in the Medtech field, which I find very rewarding.

Since about a year back me and my partner Henrik are living in an old house in the middle of the forest, in Swedish this type of house is called a "torp". It is located about 1h from Gothenburg. We are learning all kind of different jobs to keep this place from falling apart, I now know how to chimney sweep, repair AC units (for heat), renovate old windows, garden (trying might be a more accurate description of our gardening skills at this point), and the list goes on. And I know a lot more about cars than I ever wanted to before moving a 2h walk from the nearest bus stop. We really love it out here in nature: the season changes, the sunrises, the stars, the animals, the lake and forest around us. It feels so special.

I love travelling and the new experiences it comes with. Learning about how people and nature in different places can be so similar and different at the same time. I love mountains, heights in general really, or maybe mostly the sense of adventure.

If we meet, you'll most likely meet me and Henrik together. We've been together since we were 14 years old and we haven't gotten tired of each other yet. During the week we enjoy food (both of us are vegan), reality TV (don't judge), video games, board games and spending time with our families. When we have some more time over we hike, go camping, find big and small adventures to go on, travel. We built an escape room for Halloween which was really fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to meet more people when I am out traveling and to get the opportunity to experience more than one can as a tourist. The best memories from any of my travels are always from meeting up a local or fellow traveler!
