About Me

Describing myself feels like trying to write my own movie trailer — tricky, but here goes. I’m friendly, open-minded, easy-going, and the kind of person you can start chatting with and forget how much time has passed. I talk a lot (sometimes pure nonsense, but always in a fun way), I’ve got a pretty average sense of humour that somehow works, and I love getting out and meeting people.

I’m a music lover and, more importantly, a semi-professional bathroom singer — meaning my concerts have amazing acoustics, a loyal audience of shampoo bottles, and absolutely no ticket fees. I’m also into reading, hanging out with friends, grey skies, rainy days, and I take cooking seriously (but only in a fun, “let’s eat too much” kind of way).

But honestly, the best way to find out who I am is to meet me. So don’t overthink it — send me a message!

PHILOSOPHY

Find happiness in every day, enjoy life deeply, and leave only positive footprints behind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see as many countries as I can, meet people from all over the world, and soak up every bit of culture along the way. I’m also happy to host anyone visiting the coffee region — I can show you the city and its outskirts, grab a drink, cook you some Colombian (or even international) food, share a bit of our history, and see what surprises time brings.

Oh, and I’m on a personal mission to learn how to travel as light as possible… because right now my luggage looks like a fancy auntie’s bag on vacation!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I’ve surfed just once — in Ecuador — but I’ve hosted many times, even before officially joining the Couchsurfing community. I’ve played tour guide, opened my home, and done my best to make travellers feel welcome. I’m always happy to help out in any way I can — that’s really what this community is all about!

Interests

I’m hooked on travelling, meeting people, swapping stories, and discovering all the weird and wonderful ways humans live. I geek out over music, adventures, and building a ridiculously great circle of friends wherever I go.

Languages? My biggest obsession. I love helping people with Spanish and secretly want to collect as many languages as other people collect stamps.

And when I’m not chasing conversations, you’ll probably find me out in the wild — hiking, camping, or somewhere up a mountain, pretending I’m on a National Geographic episode.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Super eclectic, but gospel, classical/neoclassical are my top ones, I would also include jazz and country music.

Movies: I like most film genres; independant cinema, contemporary cinema, biographical are my preferred ones…mostly drama

Books: history, biographical, novels, society, adventure, travels/culture, personal growth, science fiction, religion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rolled off a mountain like a runaway snowball, landed with style, and kept every bone intact Lol

Teach, Learn, Share

I love exchanging knowledge about my culture, region, traditions, history, tourism, personal experiences, and adventures — and I’m just as excited to listen and learn from yours. As a native Spanish speaker, I can happily teach you some Spanish, and we can share stories, travel tips, or even cook something together if you’re up for it! We can play Masterchef: I cook, you judge me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can show you around, offer a comfy spot to rest (couch or room), whip up a nice meal, and share tips on the best places to visit and easy ways to get around. We can hang out, grab drink, cook together, swap stories, and have those great conversations that stretch late into the night. Most of all, I’m excited to learn from you — anything and everything you’re happy to share.
