Things which you can do during one day at summer here: to go at very high mountains and to make a snow baby, to see pain-tree forest, to move down and to see up to 35 kinds of locally-grown apples at free market, to vist hot sandy desert (amazing after cold mountains), clay desert, to swim at desert lake and to visit Russian steam room. You don't need to have a lot of money in your pocket to do this :)

I can show Almaty and some places of interest around. You have a chance to participate in our scientific field trips (if there is a space in car). Make a trip to nature and to show desert and mountain invertebrate animals (spiders - black widows,white widow, Eresus, borrowing wolf-spiders, Southern-Russian tarantula - 20-40 species, scorpions - 2-3 species, solifugids), make a night "safari" on scorpions. 2-3 times between June 15 - August 15, we are doing a long distance swimming at Kapchagai desert lake - 1-4 km, without special equipment and life guards - you have to be a good swimmer to join us - preps may take approximately 2 weeks
