About Me

I live in Europe, but I don’t have a fixed address. From spring to autumn I work at English camps in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

I had my profile set to my parents home in Canada, but never got any requests there… we live in a small town in the middle of nowhere. My WarmShowers profile is set to Canada… that works a bit better since there is a map on that site. We usually get a couple cyclists a year.

For now I have changed my profile to Sofia. I lived there for a few months and maybe I can arrange for a friend to host you there.

Or on BeWelcome my profile is set to Bern. It’s actually Eva who lives in Bern, but because she is such a wonderful and supportive partner she lets me stay with her when I am not working. Maybe we can also host a guest, but I have to ask her… she works full time so also needs some time to rest, but I enjoy meeting people… so let’s see.

No smoking here.

You can also contact me on WhatsApp. +43 677 637 14650 (Austria number)

I have had the most amazing opportunities and have met the most incredible people through Couchsurfing. It’s pretty cliche but it’s true.

I absolutely loved my hosting experiences, but as you can see, I have been a guest more than a host. This is largely because I have been in Europe for five years, but mostly as an au pair and working in English camps. When I have been an au pair, I have to ask the family I stay with before hosting. Usually this is not a problem, but the main reason I haven’t hosted more is simply because I have stayed with families in small towns where couchsurfers rarely visit, so I hardly get any requests. I have a lot of hosting to do in the future…

If you have nothing on your profile and no references, then please send me a detailed request. Otherwise a copied and pasted message is totally okay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travelling, it is the best way to experience a county. When hosting, it is always interesting to learn how others travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rafted on the river in Bosnia at the end of December.

Finished a 105km ultramarathon in Slovakia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can juggle, I suppose I could teach that. I even made some money doing some busking as a juggler.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m always happy to bring food and/or drinks for my hosts. I can clean and help around the house too. Most of the time I do not have much planned during the day when I am travelling, I just enjoy meeting people and experiencing different cultures, so I’m happy to do some work for you and try to make myself useful.
