Overview
About Me
My name is Angélique, and I’m the proud mother of a curious, energetic, and joyful little boy named Isaiah. We are a strong and adventurous duo, constantly exploring the world together with open hearts and minds.
Since his birth, Isaiah has been my greatest teacher. Through his eyes, I rediscover the beauty of simple things, a rock, a bug, a smile from a stranger. He reminds me to slow down and enjoy the present moment. Together, we travel, learn, and grow.
We love being close to nature. Whether we’re walking through a forest, collecting shells on the beach, or watching the stars at night, we feel most alive when we’re outside. I do my best to raise Isaiah in a respectful, conscious way, encouraging his independence, listening to his emotions, and sharing with him the values of kindness, curiosity, and respect for all living beings.
Our life is not conventional, but it’s deeply meaningful. We don’t have many material things, but we are rich in experiences, human connections, and shared laughter. I’m building a life for us based on love, freedom, and authenticity, one day, one step, one adventure at a time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m joining Couchsurfing because I believe in human connection, cultural exchange, and the kindness of strangers. I’m currently traveling with my 4-year-old son, Isaiah, and we love discovering the world in an authentic and simple way, by meeting local people and sharing real moments.
Couchsurfing is not just about finding a place to sleep. For us, it’s about creating meaningful encounters, learning from others, and showing Isaiah the beauty of trust, generosity, and diversity. I love to cook and I’m always happy to share a good meal, stories, or help with daily tasks.
We don’t need luxury, just warmth, respect, and a bit of space. In return, we offer good energy, a lot of smiles, and a glimpse into our unique little life on the road.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some movies stay with you long after the credits roll, not just because of the story, but because of what they awaken inside you. Harriet, Titanic, and Where the Crawdads Sing are three films that touched me deeply, each in their own way.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most magical adventures Isaiah and I have shared was our time in Fiji.
Fiji taught us simplicity, gratitude, and the power of community. It reminded me that happiness doesn’t come from what we own, but from the people we meet, the freedom we feel, and the love we share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a wide range of interests that reflect my curiosity, creativity, and deep connection to the world around me. I am passionate about cooking, especially creating healthy and delicious meals for my family. I love exploring different cultures through their food and ingredients.
Spending time in nature is essential to me. I enjoy walking in the forest, being near the ocean, and discovering wild landscapes, especially during my travels. I am also deeply interested in sustainable living, gardening, and learning more about permaculture and eco-friendly practices.
Another important aspect of my life is spirituality. I’m inspired by indigenous wisdom and animist traditions that promote respect for all living beings and harmony with nature. I try to live intuitively and stay connected to my values every day.
Creativity is also a big part of who I am. I love artistic activities like painting, writing, and crafting. I also enjoy spending quality time with my son, discovering the world through his eyes, and supporting his learning through fun and meaningful experiences.
Finally, I’m always eager to learn, whether it’s languages, new skills, or cultural knowledge. Every experience, every meeting, is an opportunity to grow.
