I'm a 23 year old travelling from St Petersburg, Russia to Japan. Using trains and ferries I hope to immerse myself in other cultures. My main aim is to find art, design and other creative inspiration in places I visit. To then later apply to sculpture, art and designs that I will create when at home in London.

I've met some amazing and lovely people on the way and hope to carry on this.

I am very relaxed and enjoy meeting people from different ways of life and finding a common interest or just finding out about there way of life and there culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people and to live in people own homes as constantly staying in hostels can be quite boring after a while. By using couch surfing I hope to find out more about the local area.

Interests

My main interest is in abstract art and sculpture. Also making large sculptures out of wood. Japan is the place where I hope to find inspiration through the way people design and create.

Another interest is how the world is going to change with the oncoming change in jobs due to AI and what people will be doing once most jobs are going to be taken. Quite radical thinking but something that is exciting, scary and must be addressed.
