I used to use couchsurfing a lot when I was younger, freshly graduated from the university. I've spent the last years working in Iceland and this year it's my first holidays after 5 years! I love getting to know other cultures, meeting people, trying local cuisine. When I was still studying I used to work in student organization helping exchange students and organizing trips and events for them. Now I miss those international meetings, talks about differences and things we have in common. I don't really mind the conditions of stay, the most important are the people who share time with me and give a piece of their lives. I am kind, friendly and open, I have many stories to tell and I would love to listen yours! I like helping in the house so if I can engage somehow, please let me know! :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I started to travel few years ago. I realized then traveling isn't about visiting touristic places and spending time in expensive hotels or fancy restaurants. I travel to meet and get to know people, sometimes also their families, to share stories, learn from them and bring them a piece of my country and culture. I appreciate if we can hang out together, sometimes I can discover some places I would never visit without my great hosts. It's incredible how good you feel with other person although you have met just couple of hours before! It's like meeting a friend you haven't seen for years. :)

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Volunteering in Mexico - after finishing the university I've spent 6 weeks in Puebla working with kids from families with difficulties. I don't know if I can say it was an incredible thing I've done, but surely it was incredible and important lesson for myself. Taking care of those kids taught me more than I could ever learn at any school.
