Overview
About Me
My name is Anja Fiedler. I am an artist, a cultural manager and a social entrepreneur. My work is at the interface of art, society and economy. My credo: to connect different people in order to create innovative views, ideas and synergies. I form new fields of experience and ideas that create an appetite for finding new sustainable manners of handling resources, a different kind of economizing and a new way of living.
Travelling with the focus of meeting people is one way of learning new perspectives.
I share this travel passion with my husband Uve Haussig (a sound engieneer for cinema films) and my daughter Maribel (*2009).
Normally we travel doing house exchange, woofing, creating a art project/ a question for a trip, couchsurfing.
From July 2015 till 2016 we do for the project "Picking my brain" ("Ich packe meinen Kopf") a self-experiment and worldwide research tour, in order to re-think school education.

My daughter was 3 years old, when we went to Island for an art experiment "worldwide.local". We travelled only using resources, shelter and food we shared with someone, gave soemthing in exchange or that normally are wasted. This trip was amazing: we met so many nice people, had discussions, funny and dramatic situations...
My daughter loved this way of exchanging and after 3 weeks she said to an couple we met: why do you use money- it is so great just to change.
Now, whenever we can, we continue to travel like this and help others, when the come to us.
Teach, Learn, Share
From June 2015 toll April 2016 my daughter (now 5 years) and I will do a travel school project: We learn and share in order to re-think education for future.
