I'm a volunteer here in Riga at a school, teaching German and English. I'll be here for the next year and am interested in learning Latvian and Russian. (Also French!) I'm 19 years old and have finished school, now taking a gap year to figure out my next steps. I've lived abroad before and moved several times throughout my childhood, but that doesn't compare to the traveling experiences yet to be made!

Favorite book series has to be Harry Potter. Also love Jodi Picoult books. But honestly, there are too many favorites to list!

Music taste is a mixture of everything, - at the moment I love listening to The Kooks, Billy Joel, Florence and the Machine, Of Monsters and Men, Adele, Mumford and Sons, Mighty Oaks and a German band, AnnenMayKantereit.

I think moving to Riga on my own is pretty cool, if I do say so myself.
