About Me

I have just finished my teacher training in Germany and before entering the work field for good, I want to see more of the world and its many cultures and peoples!
I'm interested in sustainability and environmental care, one of the reasons why I chose to follow a vegetarian diet. But I also like to try local dishes and the local cuisine :)
I'd describe myself as outgoing, interested and open for new things and experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard from travelling friends about couchsurfing - what an exciting way to travel and meet the world! I love the idea of this whole network spanning the globe, connecting so many people from so many cultures with each other in a peaceful and beautiful way.

Interests

I love to read, which I try to do as often as possible. I like listening to music, if it's Folk or Country or Metal I don't care. Some years ago I started knitting, I think it's pretty relaxing and you can create such useful/sweet things! I'm not an athletic person, but I'm fairly happy with myself. I love to go for a walk and I enjoy doing yoga. I like to spend time outdoors, nature is the best therapist.
Oh, yes, and I love to learn about cultures, peoples, ethnicities, religions, traditions, lives!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got my nose pierced.
Well, not exactly an amazing thing to the world, but an amazingly courageous thing to me.

And walked 330km of The Camino in 2015. I haven't thought I could do it, but I did, and I'm so proud of this experience.

Lived in beautiful Ireland (West Cork!) for almost 4 months, and fell deeply in love with this amazing country.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to knit, especially socks (which looks quite more difficult than it actually is).
I like to cook and to bake, it's relaxing when done alone and fun when done together.
I like to learn about the country I'm visiting, about its culture and traditions, but also about the people and in the end, about you, the person sitting across from me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
