  • From I'm from the Ore Mountains...there is nothing. Just trees. And stones. And more trees. Also like 50 people living in a village. Everyone knows each other. People starring out of their windows to check if you're still alive. And the language ... You wouldn't understand me if I would speak it. So I moved to Dresden, "the big city", that's how my family call it. I'm currently here, so feel free to ask if search a bed to sleep.

About Me

Just a girl with a cat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why I'm using Chouchsurfing?
I honestly have no clue about this.
I also don't remember how and why I even started.

I guess I just like meeting new interesting people from other countries, listen to their stories and explore new things with them.
If I travel by myself, I always seek for places and stuff which isn't on a tourist list. I also doesn't like hotels and hostels, I think they're to quite and they make me feel really uncomfortable.

Interests

Sooo..let's start to talk about all the other important stuff you might wanna know about me: my hobbies and stuff.

So. I like taking pictures. I kinda love it. My pictures are kinda dark and depressed (doesn't mean I'm depressed by the way) but I do take happy pictures of people I see while I'm walking around. Some people call it street photography. I also take some landscape pictures, but not really often.
It's like there are so many beautiful things out there, but I focus at the dirty and cruel things I see, because no one else really want to see it. Everyone is just ignoring it, and I try to push it back in the people's mind to say: Look. It's not all like you see it. It's different. It's not bright.

Maybe I'm cruel. Maybe I should be more normal with photography. But also this is what I want to do. Also I feel like I'm egoistic with it...even when I don't wanna be it.

Sooo. What's next.
I love walking. Like not fast. Also not slowly. Like medium.
I could walk forever around, doesn't matter where. Sometimes I don't know where to walk...but I just keep walking. So sometimes it happen that I found places I doesn't knew that they existed before, just because I lost track of my feets.

So. There is more.
Often I sit in coffee shops and do: nothing. Just nothing. Except drinking green tea and chai latte (because coffee makes me feel really weird and overactive) and except when I'm reading. I read a way to much, so I can't tell you my favourite books. The ones which inspired me a lot are:
"The Glass Castle from Jeannette Walls"
"Ms. Paula Trousseau from Christoph Hein"
"Before I fall from Lilly Lindner"
"This side of paradise from F. Scott Fritzgerald"
There are a way more books, but when I start to write all down you will read forever and you would probably stop reading this description.

Did you already guess? There is again more to tell:
Art. Everything around us is art. I'm not fanatic about it but I spend 50% of my limited free time with art. Museum's and galleries are my second home! Mostly I like Futurism, Conceptual, New Topographic, Photo Seccesion and New Objectivity but I'm not an expert in those time constructions. I sometimes feel overwhelmed with all the knowledge other people have in it. So I try to study art history, but that's another story.

Hmm...I think that's the important stuff. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to ask! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Teach, Learn, Share

That's a hard thing to tell.
What can I teach you? And what can I share?

I feel sometimes the only important "thing" to share is our story, our past, the knowledge we got from our past and jup. The past mixed up with the future.

Buuut. Before this goes to deep, here is a tiny list with things I can teach/share:

- I can tell you a lot about photography
- I could also take some photos of you
- I can cook a lot of vegetarian stuff
- I can teach you german
- I can show you creepy and abandoned places
- I can take you into museums and show you little galleries

Countries I’ve Visited

Egypt, France, Italy, Poland, Tunisia, Turkey
