I am an oceanographer who decided to explore the world a little bit. That's why currently I'm in Germany, learning about water (and life...) management and living the dream. If it comes to travelling I prefer short journeys in small groups. I'm not a party animal, I prefer to spend my evenings with good company and tea :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I think it's a great opportunity to meet interesting people on your journey and also a chance to help people out. Of course, I could find a hotel, but how dull is that? :)
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to different kind of music, but there are 2 artists that I can listen to repeteadly. Those are Mike Oldfield and Vangelis. Beside that my taste varies from classsical music, old rock and jazz to modern pop. I like Wes Anderson's and Quentin Tarantino's films and old productions of Luc Besson. But there is a special place in my heart for Singing in the Rain (1952) and films of Monty Python.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Diving in marine protected are in Italy... that was pretty amazing! Also sailing during storm on Mediterranean Sea is an unforgettable experience.
