Why I'm on Couchsurfing
With Couchsurfing I can fill my travels with colour and music. If you host me, I would love to cook for (or with) you. To share a meal is very important to me. I carry my tea set with me. I invite you to a chinese tea ceremony.
Music, Movies, and Books
Recently I watched a lot of older musicals. My fair lady, West-side story, Fiddler on the roof, Happy Girl. I love films from Studio Ghibli, Akira Kurosawa, Ozu Yasujirō. Some days Jackie Chan's kung-fu films make me happy. I love the film "What we do in the shadows" and of course "Lord of the Rings". I enjoyed books by Stephan Zweig, Theodor Fontane, Hermann Hesse, Virginia Woolf. I read all Sherlock Holmes Stories. At the moment I'm interested in japanese Aestheticism. My favourite book is "Der Zauberberg" from Thomas Mann.
