Mid 50s and loving life!. Had baby in June 2011, she is fabulous...Ellie :-). Studied in France & Belgium, speak French & Spanish. Travel as much as possible - sometimes 8 weeks a year. Love meeting people!!! Love couchsurfing. Life is short - travel!

We have rabbit named Lucy who lives part-time with me.

Love hosting families - we have plenty of space!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I read an article in the Washington Post Newspaper, very intriguing! I (we) love to travel & host!!! Little busy right now but will tell lots of people ( I am very active in my community).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have had some great experiences - surfed in 3 cities in Belgium, 2 cities in Germany, in Lichtenstein - wonderful hosts all of them!!! Surfed in Tampa, FL - great experience. Have had great guests, not one bad experience - everyone I have met thru couchsurfing has been wonderful. Became good friends with a friend I met thru a couchsurfer (Chiara) - so it is the networks of couchsurfers too!
NO MOOCHERS :-O.

Traveled a lot before couchsurfing...
I spent 5 weeks being hosted in homes (thru Rotary) in Uruguay!!! Great experience! Lots of other trips - France, Amsterdam, Ireland (coordinated and exchange program) & Wales.

Sky dived, took flying lesson in Cessna, hot air balloned, traveled parts Europe alone, SERVED in Gulf War...donated a kidney to a stranger! Ran for Mayor and best of all had a baby!

I have been thru LOTS of formal training - 27 years of education - real estate, Master's, massage, etc. Always learning. I also taught English as a second language to Hispanics.
