About Me
🧍♀️ About Me
Hi! I’m Anna — I am coming from Southern California, currently exploring the Hawaiian islands with the hope of eventually calling this place home. I work in commercial real estate, but I’m taking a break from the day-to-day grind to reset, reconnect with myself, and experience life in a deeper, more intentional way.
I’m easygoing, respectful, clean, and genuinely enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. I’ve always believed the best way to understand a new place is through the people who live there — not just guidebooks or resorts.
🌺 Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m traveling through Hawaii not just to see the beauty of the islands, but to experience the culture, lifestyle, and rhythm of everyday life here. I’m hoping to meet locals, hear real stories, and get a sense of what it’s like to actually live here — because this isn't just a vacation for me. It's part of a bigger journey to find a place that feels like home.
Couchsurfing is such a unique platform that allows for meaningful, human connection — something that’s really important to me. I’m grateful for any opportunity to stay, connect, and contribute.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can share what I’ve learned from working in commercial real estate and hospitality — especially how to build relationships, communicate effectively, and navigate big life transitions with confidence. I’ve helped coach people through career shifts and can offer perspective on goal-setting, mindset, and personal development. I also love discussing how to create balance while still being driven.
Share:
I love meaningful conversation and creating a fun and positive energy in any space I enter. I’m happy to share meals (I enjoy cooking healthy, colorful food), playlists for every mood, practical life hacks, or even just a quiet space for reflection. I can also help with organization, creating a plan (I’m great at that), or being a sounding board if you have ideas you want to talk through.
More than anything, I share presence — I genuinely care about people, and I try to leave every interaction a little lighter and warmer than I found it.
Learn:
I want to learn everything I can about local life in Hawaii — from cultural values and traditions to simple, everyday routines that make island living special. I'm especially interested in learning more about sustainability, plant medicine, free diving, and navigating life with greater connection to nature and community. If you’re willing to share any part of your world with me — from cooking to hiking to storytelling — I’ll show up with open ears and deep respect.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I bring a lot of respect into any space I enter — your home is your sanctuary, and I treat it that way. I’m clean, mindful, and always try to leave things better than I found them. That said, I also love to have fun and embrace the spontaneous side of travel — whether that’s an impromptu hike, a beach sunset, cooking something random with what’s in the fridge, or just staying up way too late talking about life.
I share my time, attention, and willingness to go with the flow. If you're the type of host who enjoys hanging out, I’m all in — but I also respect space and quiet when it's needed. I’m someone who values laughter, deep conversations, and those unexpected moments that remind us why we travel in the first place.
