As far as I remember, I've always been thirsty with travelling, discoveries, and adventure.

I tried to make the most of my (long) years of studies by studying abroad (Erasmus in Norway, internship in Vietnam, one semester in Guadeloupe in the Caribbean - where, btw, I fell in love with boats and sailing, but that's another story !). And I'm not done yet !! The more I see, the more I wanna see. Currently I try to find a balance between a "settled life" somewhere, and travelling (and that's not always easy !).

What I love in life is pretty simple : a great sightseeing, the sea (couldn't live without it), beautiful colours in the sky, animals, greetings, healthy and authentic food, getting up early when there's no one on the spot, experiencing new things that push you out of your comfort zone, meeting people from different cultures who become true friends, camping, outdoor activities, silence as well as parties.
Sports, also : sailing, hiking, horse riding, canicross, scuba-diving. I have my boat license and PADI 1.

I admire those who follow their dreams no matter what. For me, every dream is possible and should be cherished. I believe that's how we feel truly alive.

One of my current projects, for example, is to buy a campervan and travel the Pan-American road all the way North-South or reverse, without a predefined plan or duration (if I can share it, good, otherwise I won't wait for people to come with me).
Another one would be buying a sailing boat and being able one day to be the skipper, but we'll keep that for later ⛵️

Anyway, enough spoken of myself, it would be a pleasure to meet you and discuss more about your life too !

Update 09/2022:
I adopted a dog, who is veryyy cute and friendly even if he's not tiny (and I'm not saying that because he's mine ^^). I won't go without him so I would like to meet hosts or friends that actually like dogs (even if he can stay alone in the room for some visits). He won't hurt cats but can be a bit insistent on them, and as for poultry I'd rather not take the risk to bring him around. Humans (children included) and other dogs are perfectly fine though. Of course I will clean the hair afterwards 🙃

I'm done with travelling in hotels or even some soulless AirBnbs. I want to truly discover new places, to experience life like the inhabitants, to share their everyday life and language, and to meet people who share my vision of life (or not, and that could be even more interesting !).

When it comes to music, I can listen to pretty much everything ! (except for very heavy metal, not a big fan)
Among my favourites are Kygo, Queen, Phil Collins, latino music (that gives me a big smile in the morning), Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, but also celtic music, creole music, more soothing stuff etc.. anything that makes me feel something.

Books : The Alchimist from Paulo Coelho, summer novels

Movies : Lord of the Rings, Catch me if you can, Yes man, The Help, Pirates of the Carribean, films with a Historical scene, sci-fi, Christmas comedies, biopics (especially about music characters such as Ray, Elton), Disney's and so on.. Again, I'm not difficult ! Just not a big fan of horror movies

I can teach some French, and would love to continue learning Norwegian and practising my Spanish.
I can also teach horse riding, but not sure if it will apply to most hosts ^^

Also we could try a cooking exchange.

As a doctor I can help if anything happens during my stay, and I can provide general health advice (for example about nutrition and sports).

And if you travel to France one day, just tell me, I would be more than happy to share some tips or take you to a guided tour (I know mostly north-western part but have been to most of the French regions).
