I am an easy going and warm person. Being from the land of good food and wine, I enjoy culinary adventures, and big gatherings around a delicious dish. Cooking and eating healthy is an essential part of my life.
I am a journalist working free lance for French media. I have lived in San Francisco for the past 3 years and i enjoyed every moment of it.
I was born and raised in France but I'm half Spanish (Catalan on my father's side) and half German on my mum's side, we are an international family that travels a lot, and it's in my genes !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meet travelers, people that are willing to share experiences and give you another perspective on life .
I met wonderful people through couchsurfing, I think that it provides an area of free sharing and kindness that opens people's soul. Meeting people that way is very fulfilling.
I love being around the water : sailing, diving, swimming... I got my PADI certification in Mexico in 2011 and I am excited I will be able to dive more in the near future. I am also fond of sailing and one of my greatest experience was to sail around Corsica, an island in the south of France.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have very eclectic tastes, but I especially love world music : brazilian, cuban..
Books : mostly French ( Céline "voyage au bout de la nuit", Albert Camus, "l'étranger", Boris Vian "l'écume des jours" , Baudelaire "les fleurs du mal", Sartre "l'être et le néant")
Independent foreign films are my favorite.
I also love going to museums, especially in Paris, my home town, they are so wonderful and inspiring when you have a fondness for art.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in Hawaï for a shoot and walked on hot lava, it was amazing. I also dived with manta rays at night there.
Another thing I love to do when I go back to Paris, is to take a walk to Montmartre, always magical to see the Sacré Coeur and the whole city unravelling under your feet.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook but I can also teach French ! I have done it since I am in the US and really enjoyed it. What is more rewarding than to have someone speak your own language ? I would love to trade with Spanish. My Dad's family comes from Barcelona and I always wanted to speak the language . I also started learning italian, I really would like to speak it because I love to travel to Italy and I have some friends there.
