77 but very young at heart. For the first time in a long while I am lodger free and not travelling again until next year. I do not smoke and try to live a healthy, active life and dance a lot.

I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, sharing experiences - helps me develop new ideas for my travels - showing guests my city

My passion is dancing - salsa, ballroom, Ceroc, rock & roll etc etc. I also love to walk the many long distance paths which we have in England and Europe. I do a lot of voluntary work. This leaves a little time for reading, gardening and spending time with friends.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

2010 backpacked for 10 months solo around South America.
2011 walked the Camino de Santiago.
2012 backpacked from Mumbai to Chennai & Sri Lanka.
2013 back from volunteering in Peru for 6 months but my Spanish is still rubbish! 2014 -2015 back in Peru and then walked part of the Via Francigena - Lucca to Roma
2016 - walked 500 miles across France
2017 - Peru again and travelled through southern Mexico
2018 - Just completed the Camino Primitivo
2019 - Peru yet again! via Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Chile & Argentina
2020/21 - Life on hold!!!
2022 - Walked the Great Glen Way, visited Orkney and walked the Camino Ingles
2023 - Walked part of the Camino Mozarabe & travelled through France until someone stole my phone!
2024 - I already have plans
