Why I'm on Couchsurfing
To discover other people’s perspectives and ideas of the world & share good moments with food and wine or beer! Although my profile is rather new on couchsurfing, I have used it with friends through their profile in Chile and had cool experiences staying at couchsurfers’ places. The concept is pretty amazing :-) (I hope to be able to accept guests once I am more settled).

A couple of book titles that spring to my mind... *Americanah, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie *Country of my Skull, Antjie Krog *The Bluest Eye, Toni Morrison Any kind of book which triggers my mind really; especially books which address historical events or important themes such as gender, race, identity. Music & films: more interesting to talk about and share in person.

Studied a semester abroad in South Africa, and the year I spent in Brazil.
