ABOUT ME

Hi,

I’m a game director and sci-fi writer. My daily job is all about creating fantastical worlds and inhabiting them with arts: animation, modeling, illustration, voice acting, and writing.

Outside of work, my greatest passion is travelling. I believe that interacting with foreign cultures and really trying to understand them is a unique opportunity to broaden the horizons and gain an entirely different perception of reality. I also fall into weird little rabbit holes all the time—language-learning, invertebrate husbandry, engineering.

One of my life’s biggest adventures was a 3-month, solo trip to Nepal in 2011. For a month I volunteered at a Buddhist monastery in the High Himalayas. The rest of the time I trekked around the mountains. It was a real eye-opener.

Once, I hitch-hiked all the way from Warsaw to Bangkok, ocasionally catching train rides. I also travelled a lot around China, Europe, Caucasus, Middle East, Central Asia, and Horn of Africa. Whenever I hit the trail, I hope to meet interesting people along the way and learn alternative ways of living.
