I am a lawyer, entrepreneur and musician (classical violin/viola). Outgoing, mature and worldly (although I try to be youthful in my approach to life and committed to staying physically fit for adventure), I like to connect with other outgoing people.

I grew up in the UK but have lived in and around New York for a long time. I go to a lot of events and concerts and can introduce guests to many musicians who are my friends. I have to warn guests - it is important to have a sense of humor around me because I love to laugh myself and anyway, without humor life is just dull. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of traveling and interacting with people from other countries and hearing about their experiences. Since I am European myself, although I have lived in New York for a long time, I tend to socialize with people who are well-traveled or who have also come to the USA from another country.

I like to write - I am fairly good at it and am working on a screenplay. I play chamber Music - know many top musicians. I want to learn more languages and improve my skills in French and Portuguese, and perhaps Italian and Russian (I know a little) - and maybe learn some Chinese.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make a nice breakfast every morning with oatmeal, fresh fruit, nuts and coffee. I can play music for you and talk about the beauty of fine antique musical instruments reaching back to the 16th Century. If I am hosting and having musician friends over we may play a string quartet or two for you, or if you are hosting me I can play a song at your request ....
