About Me

Well, even if I don’t believe too much in self descriptions , let’s say that I consider myself a multifaceted person. Easy going or serious depending on the circustamces and sympatethic; I like laughing and to make people laugh. I am a laywer, and since people generally remark how “cold” and arid lawyers ‘ life is (even if I don’t completely agree with this statement ) I like to think that Couchsurfing is quite the opposite!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing community some years ago, had some remarkable experiences and then just ( guiltibly!!!) quit the communiy for some years...Now I feel time has comed to come back!!
Imagine a world with way less barriers: this is how intend Couchsurfing . A way to get to know people who maybe don’t have your same views but neverthless share this basic idea to get in touch with others from different part of the world and different cultures in the easiest and direct way possible.
Basically, couchsurfing is like journey: it starts as an external travel thay could turn in an internal one in so far as it helps you to discover things that can help to find consciously your place in the world or better define your identity.

Interests

I play the piano, mostly classical music (Chopin and Debussy are my favourite composers). I am really fond of history (especially the modern one), Philosophy (the Greek is the one!). When I was at school, I loved Latin; I collect stamps, read a lot and I am a big cinema fan. I have read too many good books in my life that is impossible to make an exaustive list of them . If I had to pick a genre, I would say that Russian writers are definetely the ones I feel closer to. They basically deal with everything: Philosopyh, sociology, psycology, theology, politics, so they succeed in giving the reader that fantastic feeling of completeness. Maybe Brothers Karamazov by Dostojevski is my favourite book as well The Master and Margarita by Bulgakov. Right now, I am looking further into the iberian current, reading writers such as Jose saramago and fernando Pessoa. Saramago’s sense of humour and satire is something unique!
I love cinema (especially thriller and noir films). My favourite directors are David Lynch, the Coen Brothes and Nicolas Winding Refn

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is an essential part of my life....My Favourite bands or singers are: Pink Floyd (especially the first period with Syd Barrett), Velvet Underground, The Doors, The Cure, Faust;, The Seeds, Pere Ubu; Tuxemodoon, Wire, Nick Cave, Joy Division, Brian Eno, Roxy Music, The stooges, Residents, Ivan Graziani, Ivano Fossati.
