ABOUT ME

I was born in Russia some time ago, and one day I decided to change my life and I came to Malta to study English and never left this beautiful little island. It’s been more than 13 years since then.

Traveling is my biggest passion, as it’s the best way to open your mind, discover the world, and learn more about yourself. I love to listen more than I speak, because every person is like a book worth reading.

I’m a big fan of nature, the most magical and impressive thing in the universe. I love all animals, but dogs definitely have my heart.

I’m adventurous and enjoy pushing my limits: hitchhiking, camping, hiking, rafting, skiing, climbing mountains (including the highest in Europe, Elbrus 🏔️), and snorkeling in the Red Sea. I also believe that food is one of the best ways to explore a culture, so I’m always happy to discover a country through its cuisine.

I’m an early bird—mornings are my favorite time of the day.
And to be clear—I’m not a party animal at all. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has given me some of the most wonderful experiences of my life. I’ve met inspiring people, made real friends, and learned so much through it. After a long break during Covid, I’m excited to return to the Couchsurfing journey and create new memories and connections again.

🎬 My favorite movie is Avatar by James Cameron—I love everything about it: the story, the visuals, the philosophy.

📚 My favorite book is Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts. It’s about love, but in the most unexpected and raw way—it’s everything but a typical love story.

🎶 My music taste is very diverse, and I enjoy discovering new sounds rather than sticking to just one style.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mount Elbrus (the highest in Europe) and snorkeled in the Red Sea.
