ABOUT ME

I was an air force brat and for the first half of my life, I moved around a lot. I have lived in the Philippines and the Azores and was born in California. I feel drawn to the ocean because of my experiences in life. I love to travel and I love dogs.

PHILOSOPHY

You cant please everyone so do things for yourself and people will be pleased with your independence and ambitions of your own life. Also, know that Peace is Every Step! Happiness can be found in the present moment. Even when we breathe, the cool feeling of life coming into your nose and exhaling in happiness is a gift. So smile right now and this alone will bring you happiness.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I could live on a couch if I needed to. You dont need much in life, just some clothes on your back, food, and some shelter over your head and maybe a dog and some friends to share your life experiences with. Ive lived on a couch for a year with nothing but a sack of clothes and a closet for my space...pretty freeing knowing that you have nothing to be responsible for but yourself.

兴趣

I love dogs. I am waay into art and crafts but never have the time for them. Kung fu movies...Bruce Lee is my boyfriend in another life!!! Cooking. Cooking. Cooking. Trees and whales make me cry because of their majestic awesomeness. GARDENING! And anything that has to do with being outside. Fishing and camping fo sho.

Movies:garden state, the waking life, galdiator(first movie to ever make me cry), and the bruce lee collection.
Music: everything and anything not even kidding. I grew up listening to every kind of music, yanni, claanad, led zepplin, bette midler, elvis, patsy cline, classical. Today I love m.i.a., the temptations, slightly stoopid, enya, radiohead, brandi carlile, amos lee and everything else under the sun...i just love music.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I lived in the Azores, which is a group of islands off the coast of Portugal about 1000 miles, I was in 4th grade and my school had a boat naming competition. I won out of the entire k-12 school. The bay clean up boat was named the Aqua Defender haha.
Serious amazing experiences include being in about 6 or 7 earthquakes. I am drawn to severe thunderstorms and earthquakes. They stir something deep in my bones.

I can make some pretty sweet necklaces using macrame(the art of tying knots). I know how to sew. I would like to know how to crochet better...my first hot pad turned into a purse? I know a fair amount of gardening. I can cook a mean filipino meanl!
