About Me

Hello friend 🤗

I was born in Toronto, Canada, but I haven't lived there for over 15 years.

I tried to settle down once, but it really didn't suit my character, so now I consider myself nomadic, moving from place to place every few weeks or so.

I'll be spending the summer in Germany before hitting the road again in the fall. Where to? As usual, I have no clue, but the Far East is definitely calling my name... stay tuned 😜

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see Couchsurfing as an opportunity to enrich my life and the lives of my fellow travelers through shared resources, comradery, and spirit of adventure 🏄‍♀️

Music, Movies, and Books

I love stand up comedy and comedy podcasts. My favourite comedians include Louis CK, Anthony Jeselnik, Annie Lederman, Ali Siddiq, Sam Morril, Theo Von... the list goes on and on.

One series/human that has really impacted me is Parts Unknown by Anthony Bourdain. I can recommend his book Kitchen Confidential as well as the following non-fiction works:

📖 Non-Violent Communication by Marshal B. Rosenberg
📖 Cosmos by Carl Sagan
📖 Blue Zones by Dan Buettner
📖 Mutant Message Down Under by Marlo Morgan
📖 The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
📖 Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer

I can also recommend anything written by Ayan Hirsi Ali, Yuval Harari, Malcolm Gladwell, Michael Pollan, Katy Bowman, and Jared Diamond.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My Couchsurfing hosts can look forward to my sense of humour and inquisitive disposition. I love to go for walks, cook vegan food, and I am happy to help out my host in any way I can. If you want to practice your English, French, or Spanish I would love to be your conversation partner. I am responsible, trustworthy, and will treat you and your home with the highest respect and gratitude 🙏

Om Shanti~
