ABOUT ME

I am Sutardi, graduated of foreign language academy 6 yearS ago. I was born in Yogyakarta. I studied English and Cinematography. I am open minded, and easy going. I love meeting people from various cultural backgrounds because I'd love to learn things about other cultures as well as sharing my culture with them. . One day without talking with foreigner is like addict.

Right now i am trying to write my own book about my life, about what just happening to me in English. I really hope one day i can public those book. I am writing my fourth book now. Not so many people from the village they can get education until University. I was the only one from my family who can finish my study till Uni. Well, i hope there is more Sutardi in the future.

What i can to you if you ever stay with my family?
1. Couch, of course
2. I have free bike, only 1, but u can use it.
3. A scooter? maybe...if u are nice i could let u to use my scooter.

I started work as a Private teacher since when i was student at Senior high school. Then I worked for my Boss from Grenoble, France. I traveled for my boss about a month. We would like to develop about Fair trade and Fair Tourism. Starting on 2013-2017 I used to work for Belgium company organizing big group who are traveling in Indonesia. And in 2017 until now I work as front office at one of the hotel in Yogyakarta.

I am a fun loving and open person although some people say I am a bit formal, but that is until they get to know me and than they find I am quite alternative and a bit crazy.

I really like music and the arts and particularly te theatre. I enjoy going out and am quite an extrovert. However if you are out with me you will never get lost. I will guarantee that you will have a great time.

I like meeting new people from other countries. But i am a bit shy and silence for the first time, but once you get to know i become completely different. I will talk too much, lol.. I like to share stories, experiences, cultures, and anything about life..

I like also to Cook especailly Indonesian foods. And everytime, when i have guest i teach them how to cook Indonesian foods. Although i stay in the village, but u can learn new things here. So, don't hesitate to learn from me. Are you interested?????

When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable.

Home is a quality you bring to a place, not a quality that a place brings to you. Let yourself feel at home anywhere and people everywhere will welcome you always.

Since i decided to register to be CS member i have hosted a lot of travelers and learn new things or new cultures that i never know before. I'm trying so hard to be a good host. And yes, i hope you guys try so hard to be a good guest too ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This CS very interesting. I can learn their languages, cultures, and etc.
DON'T BE AFRAID OF PUTTING BAD REFERENCES JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO GET A BAD REFERENCE ON YOUR PROFILE IN CHANGE(that's bad for the other people coming after you)... Anyway Couchsurfing is Awesome, absolutely the BEST way of travelling. It's fun!!! stop with "ORDINARY TRIPs" that's a great opportunity.
