ABOUT ME

i finsihed my bachelor of arts (languages) majoring in japanese and chinese in melbourne, australia before coming to japan to live and work. i lived in hiroshima when i was 15/16 years old, and although i still call australia home (ahh, a sentimental aussie song), i am very settled and loving life here in japan.

my contract here in japan is until mid july 2008, after that i plan to travel through russia and central asia before starting a long-term short course (that's it's translation - i know it doesn't make that much sense) in shanghai, china before making my way home to australia through southeast asia.

i'm very asia orientated and plan to do a masters/PhD in asian studies and hopefully end up teaching at tertiary level.

(although, better not get too far ahead of myself...who knows what the future will hold!!)

i've hosted a fair few couchsurers now and plan to do some couchsufing of my own soon.

兴趣

i'm interested in travelling, swimming, netball, hiking/camping and foreign languages.

although i like living by myself, i love to play with my friends and meet new people any chance i get!
