关于我

I enjoy meeting people from other countries and learning about their culture. I like the outdoors, hiking, golf, good wine and beer. Can eat sushi daily. Enjoy spending time with friends and family.

***PLEASE READ ALL BELOW***
Please don't use CS or my home or any other hosts home as a free hostel.

CS is NOT a dating app.

These are NOT the spirit of this community.

If you're in town on a 1 day layover, flying back home and need a couch for the night, or in for a show, concert, theme park and just need a place to crash for 1 night, then my place is not for you. I'm not here to just provide a place to sleep. I consider that rather rude as you are here just looking for a place to sleep and have no interest in knowing your host or what LA has to offer. It implies that this is a very short term stay before moving on to your real destination and have no real interest in my city or the CS community. For this, there are hotels and hostles that you can stay at. It's understandable that one might want to save money, but take into consideration that hosting surfers also comes with expenses for the host. The money isn't the issue for the host. It's the lack of understanding that hosts are not here just to give you a couch because you're trying to save money. We host because we're trying to create friendships with fellow travelers and have your experience in our city be as memorable as possible.

Also if you are traveling with friends or partners, (I don't host groups of 4 or more) helpful advice, don't just write, "me and my partner, my friend/s" want to stay with you. Take the appropriate time and be courteous to write and explain who your friend/s are. Your friend/s, partners or anyone wanting to stay with a host should have their own CS profile. Hosts want and need to know who they are accepting into their home. Not having your own profile will NOT be accepted into my home. Again it implies those friends have no respect for the community or host but are only using CS for a place to sleep and to save money. Be part of the community and create a profile. Besides its for the safety of the entire community that all have their own profiles.
I don't host large groups as it's been my experience that as a group, (especially the younger ones) they tend to keep to themselves and have no interest in meeting or knowing the host or the community.

I live in Alhambra, PLEASE Google map where that is, as I'm not near LAX. I don't pick up surfers from LAX.

Any requests submitted without acknowledging that the
