About Me
READ MY REFERENCE BEFORE READING THIS…
I only host women now.
Why? Simple: they leave the place exactly as they found it.
Jedi-in-residence, digital geek, Annecy local.
Happy to meet, share, and host — as long as respect is mutual.
⸻
MY PHILOSOPHY
• Share what actually matters.
• Embrace the weird.
• Think outside the algorithm.
• Be kind — not boring.
If we start talking about dates and you just ghost me instead of saying “no,” you’ll get a review.
This isn’t drama — it’s just basic respect.
To filter out random “surfing” messages:
👉 Please put #Annecy at the top of your message.
(Sorry for the blunt intro — experience has made it necessary.)
⸻
WELCOME MESSAGE
You’re welcome here as if it were your home 🏠✨
Just remember: it is my home.
A nice gesture: cook something simple the first evening 🍳.
Nothing fancy — a quick corner-shop meal shows you’re playing along 🛒.
If I cook… it’s at your own risk. No casualties yet. 😅🧯
⸻
GROUND RULES 📌
• Your stay is confirmed for the first night only.
• If all goes well, we continue. (With normal people, it’s never been an issue.)
• Keep me updated on your arrival:
📲 WhatsApp only (+33 7 … …) — no calls or SMS.
Or email: arnaud.…@….com
Or message via the platform (less reliable).
• No bookings outside the platform.
Please write messages — no voice notes.
My spoken English isn’t great, and this avoids confusion. 📝🔇
⸻
HOW IT WORKS ⚙️
• Once I get your “I’m on my way” message, I’ll send the address. 📍
• The apartment is right next to the train station — easy to find. 🚉
• If I don’t hear from you before 8 p.m., I’ll assume you’ve cancelled. 🕗❌
• Any conversation left hanging without a proper “no” or cancellation — especially if it blocks others — will be reflected in your reference. 📝
⸻
IMPORTANT ⚠️
• No one stays in the apartment without me present. 🚫🏠
• You can drop your bags, but no solo access. 🧳
If any of this sounds unreasonable to you — don’t come. ✋
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Everything we don’t share is lost …

Interests
Oh… where to begin?
I’m into many things — and especially what happens when you mix them.
Art, tech, music, digital — I love blending it all to create something new.
Philosophy — not name-dropping thinkers, but actually diving into ideas and concepts.
I’m curious by nature, and I enjoy talking about almost anything — especially if it challenges the way we think.
So… what’s your passion?

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m into cinema, series, and music — all the stuff that tells stories or moves you without words.
Music? Let’s talk.
I’m into good electro — the kind that hits deep.
From dark electro like VNV Nation, to electro-pop like Covenant, to timeless alt-rock like Pixies.
What about you — what’s in your headphones right now?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve done a bunch of amazing things in my life.
Just to be clear though:
– I’ve never killed an alligator with my bare hands.
– I’ve never fought a dragon (but I’d definitely lose — no shame).
But!
– I did exhibit my drawings in New York City, September 2013 — still pretty wild.
– And I once turned my CV into a 3D infographic — because why not make HR work for it?
Life’s too short for boring projects.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone’s got a hidden superpower — seriously.
Sometimes it’s obvious, sometimes it’s weird, but it’s there.
Look at people with curiosity and you’ll always find something worth learning.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don’t bring souvenirs, but I do bring stories.
I can share good music.
If you're into art, tech, or philosophy (the real kind — not just quoting dead guys), we’ll probably get along just fine.
I’m always mixing digital, sound, and thoughts to create weird little things.
But honestly? The best part is just sharing time, meals, laughs — and learning from each other.
