About Me

Become a chef. Run a restaurant. Grow truffles. You can also find stuff about me on facebook.com/arnojullien and my latest pictures are on 500px.com/ArnoJullien.

I try to be honest with myself and with others. I try to do what makes sense, and to avoid what does not. I try to live as many experiences as possible during this existence... and whatever happens is supposed to happen. If it doesn't, it wasn't meant to.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I love it and it gives me back some love.

Observe, listen, breathe, remain silent, taste, contemplate, smile, laugh, talk bullshit, talk serious shit, travel, live in different countries, swim, roller-/ grass-/ ice skate until complete exhaustion, cook, share, smoke, grow, sleep, do nothing, be hyperactive, tease, please, seduce, reach simultaneous climax, be provocative, seek new experiences, meet different people in and from different places, shout in the desert, dance in the rain, crawl in the snow, dream, fight sleepiness, meditate, sunbath naked, run naked, disturb routine, chat with strangers for the first and last time in the weirdest places, write poems in bars, gossip on terraces, try to be smart sometimes, debate about male-female relationships, look at girls and try not to get caught doing so, be caught doing so, take things with philosophy, make films, watch movies, think again, fall in love, read a lot, try and understand how people and things work, give and receive pleasure, be discreet, be extravertite, be funny, be forgiving, be controversial, be paradoxal, be forgiven, be allowed to stay longer than expected, be invited to come back, surprise myself and others, have friends all over the place, remain sensitive among assholes, have you smile reading this, and focus on positive aspects of humanity.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Jump from a cliff paragliding, rollerskate down the Mont Ventoux, make a perfect flip on a car's roof on a Spanish highway, visit USA east coast at the age of 11, leave home to Berlin at the age of 18, set up my first business at 19, survive drugs abuse during my 20's, live with a woman (that's the toughest one), set up a 2nd business at the age of 23, live in Amsterdam 4 years, have sex at the office, invite friends and family in top French restaurants, meet incredibly smart people on the streets of Europe while filming them, be part of humanity, get fired from 3 companies within 6 months on purpose, wake up at night realising I had to change my zombie-office-worker-life and resign in the morning, remain sensitive in a cynical world, live according to my dreams whenever I can, fight ignorance obscurantism and stupidity, decide to become a filmmaker at the age of 28, stop caring about what people have to say about me or my life. Become a professional chef at the age of 37. Or 38. Let's see :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Ask me what you need help with, and I may help if I can. We do learn lots of new things every day, don't we ? Share ? Of course. Time, food, respect, humour...

What I Can Share With Hosts

A roof, food, a bed with blankets. Otherwise, tell me what you need and I'll tell you if I can help with it. If you send me a request, tell me why you would like to stay with me please. And one last thing, from now on, I only host people above the age of 30 y.o. !
