I am new to this site. I find the idea fascinating. I am here, first, to meet new open-minded people and learn about their culture. Second, I am here because hotels and even Airbnb are damn expensive in North America and if we have some extra space and warmth to share, why waste it?

Movies? Anything but mainstream Hollywood when it comes to cinema. Classical and folkloric as for music. With a special interest in Southern Europe and Mediterranean music. Books? Haha! That's a hard question; I hardly have time for anything but textbooks and analytical articles!
