Hello! My name is Artem Oliinyk, I am 20 and I am from Boryspil, Ukraine. I am a third year student of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. I am studying Accounting and Audit at the faculty of Accounting and Economics. I am hard-working, responsible and persistent and I think that is why I have been working as a chief accountant assistant in building company since October and I really like it, even though sometimes I work till night.
In my free time I like to read books, watch wovies and TV Series (Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead are my favorite) different shows on Discovery Channel, go in for sport and of course have fun with my friends. But most of all I like to travel. It does not matter for me if I take a bike and ride it through my town, sit on the train and go to other Ukrainian city or get the plane to another country — everything is cool. I have covered over 500 km on my bike for 3 years. This year together with my friend I visited Odessa, Lviv, Kharkiv, Poltava and conquered the highest mountain of Ukraine – Hoverla. I understand that I won’t conquer Denali, but I hope to enjoy the greatness of The Grand Canyon. I have already been to many countries: Thailand, France, Cyprus, Georgia and others but the most exciting was my trip to the USA. When I was in the 9-th grade, I was a participant of Sister City Student Exchange between Boryspil and Hopkins, Minnesota. That was an amazing adventure, I felt myself like real American teenager: for a whole month I lived in a fireman family, attended school with my host-brother, had fun in the Mall of America, my mentor, Hopkins Mayor Gene Maxwell, showed me different interesting places, I felt the atmosphere of Halloween and Thanksgiving day, enjoyed the picturesque view of Minnesota lakes and many others. It was awesome. I like discovering something new, so I want to visit other American states except Minnesota.
