About Me

NOT AVAILABLE AFTER MARCH 26, 2019

Help me host...

1) Choose 1 or 2 nights, please be specific.

2) Please write a short message like, ''Hi, is the room available for 2 people July 17 -19?'' I do not look at personal information or references. All you need is a heartbeat.

3) Please arrive before 2100.

4) I only decline if the room is occupied. Please do not send another message to thank me anyway, just have a safe trip!

5) If I accept I will give you my email, and WE ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL I RESPOND TO YOUR EMAIL! Please email as soon as possible, first email confirmation first served.

6) After 2200 is super freaking quiet time. Please, no bathing, cooking, skyping, opening and closing of bags and suitcases etc, whispers only, so nobody should hear you beyond a couple of meters away. Please tell me in your message you will be super freaking quiet after 2200.

7) Please plan on leaving the room the same way you found it for the next couchsurfer, so sweeping the floor and putting used linens in the hamper for sure and cleaning whatever else suits your fancy, trusty mop, bucket, sponge in the kitchen, ready for action.

8) Please read my My Home.

(If you are coming to Japan from abroad please bring small coins, happy to exchange for yen, ideally go to a bank and buy the equivalent of U$S10 of the smallest denomination in rolls. Many of my students are children, give the coins as prizes. Or don't, just have a safe trip!)
